The client was looking for a movie video and trailor viewing platform, where the user can come & register themselves & opt for a subscription plan. The user would view the video online, along with the movie trailers. We integrated the OOYALA API for video streaming, recurring payments, movement in parts, addition of video specific details, addition of separate pages for actors & movies and refined search. We implemented Solr search, for faster searching. Reviews & rating systems were also implemented here, along with other social media sharing features. The platform was built with Drupal 7.
The client was looking for a deal website offering discounts for restaurants. We implemented the yield calender method for the calculation of deals & discounts. On the basis of that, we implemented the run time calculation of discounts on peak time of the day and peak time of the week. We implemented Solr search, memcaching and created a multilingual platform. We also implemented the restaurant widget facility using which the restaurant owner can place a widget on another website helping in online bookings. Real time calculation was also implemented for table bookings. We also implemented the SMS gateway integration for SMS marketing. We implemented location/Zip code based search for faster searching on this platform. We did Google API integration and also integrated Authorize.net payment gateway for recurring support. Client’s old environment consisted of 4 IIS web servers (one for each language). Each of these web servers were utilizing ASP.Net web site files (.aspx.) to serve content. There was no backing CMS or database, meaning that each time someone wanted to update content, they would have to contact the IT department, wait on a response, review the implementation, and review again with IT to makes any needed adjustments. Client was looking for a more efficient method to update content that didn't require as many internal steps.
